BARITONE HORN (Euphonium) - American Type

CONN
Connstellation (1968)
Mouthpiece: Vincent Bach 5GS, GIALDINLLI 4M

I want to play more light tone than Euphonium and more rich tone than Baritone (British type) for some old American Wind Orchestra Music and JAZZ. CONN Connstellation Baritone Horn (Euphonium) comes up to my expectation. I will play Baritone Solo of P.A.Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy".
I have plated to 24K Gold inner Bell by myself!

DOUBLE BELLS EUPHONIUM - American Type

BOEHM & MEINL

This Baritone has Gold Brass Bell with Silver Plate. The sound is not poor, rich & bright

EUPHONIUM - British Type

york
3067 Preference

york' large bell euphonium. It is like a Besson's BE967-2 Sovereign modell. But I feel it has more broadly tone than Sovereign.
I have fited main tuning slide trigger, trigger guard and some gold plated parts.

BOOSEY & HAWKES
7674 Imperial

Mouthpiece: Denis Wick SM4 Gold

This is my most favorite Euphonium. Satin silver is mint condition. Piston action is no problem. I am trying the performance with Rich and Dark tone. I think this Euphonium's tone has "WABI-SABI" . It is the best match for my feeling !

I have plated to 24K Gold inner Bell and Tuning Slides by myself! And added to Main Tuning Slide Trigger. Please see other photo -1- -2- -3- -4- -5-

This Euphonium was mede in Japanes NIKKAN. NIKAAN is now YAMAHA. I was playing same model at 13years old. It was my first Brass Instrument playing.

This was presented to me from my friend. I thought to restore it, but it is necessary very expensive cost. However I have a good other idea. I tried to change colors to Blue & Yellow!!! So this Euphonium was restored to life as good ornament.
